OUR PLATFORM
We engineer invariant Natural Killer T (iNKT) cells to deliver a multi-pronged attack against cancer. CAR-iNKT cells have multiple ways to kill cancer cells.

  • Natural targeting via the invariant TCR / CD1d axis and NKG2D pathway

  • Remodulate the tumour microenvironment

  • ALA-105 | Allogeneic CLDN18.2-directed CAR-iNKT cells with IL-12-TM cytokine armouring

    • Targets CLDN18.2-positive gastric and pancreatic cancers

    • Utilises novel, proprietary CLDN18.2-targeting CAR and membrane-anchored IL-12 cytokine armouring

    • Armouring improves cell persistence and durability of the anti-tumour response under high tumour burden

    • Latest CLDN18.2 data presented at ISCT, Dublin 2026

UPCOMING CLINICAL TRIAL
An open label, phase 1 dose escalation trial evaluating the safety, tolerability and preliminary efficacy of ALA-101 in patients with relapsed or refractory lymphomas and leukaemias.

There is a substantial unmet need for patients with relapsed or refractory haematological cancers, particularly for patients who have exhausted existing treatment options. ALA-101’s iNKT biology, combined with targeted CAR technology, is an innovative platform which addresses some of the challenges associated with existing cell therapies.
